Meet Mikey Brown

While attending vocational school, a representative from WyoTech showed up to speak to the class. With that, and the influence of a great recruiter (Anthony Palm), Mikey took off to Pennsylvania to master Paint and Body. Mikey’s career really grabbed hold during Round Two at WyoTech when he studied Upholstery. Equipped with a wealth of knowledge and acquainted with experts to bounce ideas off of, Mikey’s Kustom Upholstery was born.

With a selective eye, Mikey was about to build his brand in the circuit while connecting with some world-class acts. He met some life-long friends and gained extensive experience while doing everything from Dragsters to Show Customs.

Mikey is an inspired builder of Nostalgic Drag Cars and other weird gems based out of Deputy, IN. His unique style pairs with unbelievable talent to bring his ideas from Paper… to Pavement.

Mikey’s imagination was first sparked in childhood from collecting Hot Wheels. He was even customizing model cars!

Before he could drive, he took up building Lowrider bicycles and took home several trophies. After getting licensed, he still managed to make each vehicle “his own” despite a non-existent budget.

After years of striving business in the upholstery shop, Mikey knew it was about time for a change. He had dreamed of devoting his time to full builds and to broadcast the stories in hopes of inspiring other builders and racers to give it a shot. He and Trent decided to partner up and Paper to Pavement was born.
